Biography

Michael is an experienced photographer with an extensive portfolio of nature, equestrian, wildlife, people and places. Michael’s interest in wildlife photography heralds from many visits to the African continent, getting up close and personal with Lion, Hippo, Elephant, Leopard and Crocodile!

Michael's portfolio is one of interest, obviously wildlife plays a strong part, but people and places do also feature heavily too. Michael's style is very unique; for corporate functions, sporting events and will adapt his style to suit your requirements, "relaxed and informal" is often a phrase used to describe his approach, and his style enables him to get those rarely captured moments on camera.

In 2003 Michael gained his Associate Distinction in nature photography with the Royal Photographic Society (RPS). Michael is also a member of the Photographic Society of America (PSA.)

Michael has had various pictures and articles published in a variety of magazines and photographic journals. An exhibition of his wildlife pictures has also been displayed in London and received outstanding acclaim.

Following on from his award of a bronze medal for one of his African wildlife images, Michael has won the gold medal for one of his equestrian images from the Royal Photographic Society Travel Group competition.

During 2008, Michael won a Bronze medal from the Royal Photographic Society Travel Group for an image of a Red Stag (see nature gallery).

During 2009 Michael won a Bronze medal from the Photographic Society of America for an image of a Bluebird.
